This was Fury made in Belvidere, Illinois. As far as I know, this trophy winning car has never seen winter. It was bought in Arizona by a collector in 1991, brought to Canada, and traveled only 5000 miles in the
ten years before I bought it in 2001.
The top was replaced in 2008 with a blue Hartz cloth top with a glass back window. The two tone blue upholstery was redone in 2010 by Legendary Interiors, NY. It is 318, 4 bbl (2009) and 727 tranny with cooler, ps, pb, and factory a/c (rebuilt 2012).
Stainless dual exhausts 2008. PS, PB, HD front shocks 2012, rear air shocks 2008. Factory AM/FM stereo thumb wheel radio, rear speaker. New stereo in glove box. The car had a restoration repaint in 2012 in original Alpine White (W1). This car is straight, virtually no rust. A pleasure to drive. There aren't many like this. It is a high number 2, not far from a number 1 car.
Includes Operator's Manual, Service Manuals, Glenn's Repair Service Guide, assorted literature, and trophies. I have been the caretaker of this car since 2001 and it is time for someone else to take over.
1967 Plymouth Fury III Convertible
MotoeXotica is pleased to announce this very handsome and uncommon 1967 Plymouth Fury III convertible. Chrysler intended the Fury to be a sporty premium priced model which showcased Plymouth’s unique styling and features. 1967 was the Fury’s fourth generation of production and was now offered three different equipment packages that better suited their customers financial and comfort desires. These packages ranged from Fury I to Fury III, with the first being the least expensive and least equipped and the Fury III being the most expensive and equipped. The Fury III package offered every luxury accessory that Plymouth offered; an automatic transmission, power steering, whitewall tires, stereo radio, power convertible top, and air-conditioning. Still retaining the original build sheet from the Chrysler plant in St. Louis, this Fury was originally sold in sunny California and comes with a copy of the original title as well as its California black plates!
Exterior – The light blue paint is in fantastic condition, sure to impress at any car show! Professionally repainted in 2013 in the original factory color of light blue, code DD1, this dry climate car retains all of its original sheet metal which required no cutting or patching, one of the many benefits inherent in cars from dry climates. Paint is a high quality 2 stage base/clear finish that shows extremely well. Both front and rear chrome bumpers are in great condition, as well as the other chrome trim pieces too. The white power convertible top performs its function well without hesitation, and is in great condition.
Interior – The blue vinyl seats are in very good shape with no major tears or worn spots. According to the owner, this Fury has benefited from new carpeting and seat upholstery thus resulting in a fantastic overall interior appearance. All gauges are in good working order along with the factory A/C which blows cold. The steering wheel does have some cracking to it, but is original. Wipers, exterior lights, interior lights and horn are all in good working order. A new stereo has been installed and hidden in the glove box but also has an external jack to comply with modern music players.
Original to the car a 318 cid V8 engine with 2 barrel carb produces power to the rear wheels. Mated with the engine is the original 3-speed automatic transmission. The owner states that everything in the engine compartment is original and extremely tidy. Being a true California black plate car the underbody is dry, scale free and well preserved. Car also boasts upgraded Rocket wheels and radial tires which show very minor signs of use, the original wheels and hubcaps will come with the car upon purchase.
This Fury is truly the definition of a show quality driver car. It is not the typical old ornament that has been sitting around for years and needs lots of TLC. It has actually been driven in the Power Tour, as well as several other long distance trips with no issues. Literally everything works from the wipers to power accessories as well as the factory A/C system. This is a turn key classic that simply needs a new owner.
What are you waiting for? This Fury III needs nothing and is ready to be driven anywhere! GET OUT AND DRIVE! Odometer currently reads 63,800 miles and according to owner is original mileage. However, due to age of car, it is sold as mileage exempt.

1966 Plymouth Fury 3 Two Door Hard Top, This car belonged to the same owner for many years. It is an absolutely gorgeous car that has been garaged and well maintained and it shows. The body is straight and solid, the chrome and stainless steel trim are brilliant, the interior is like new and the seats have been covered in clear plastic! Powered by the 318 cubic inch V/6 engine the car runs and drives very well. Under the hood in the engine bay is immaculate, the trunk looks like it has never been used and the underneath of the car is clean and solid. The car has Air Conditioning that blows ice cold! At some point many years ago, the car was resprayed and it still shines brilliantly, although there are a few scratches on the paint. This is a turn key car that is ready to show, drive and enjoy! This car is being sold, because the long term loving eighty four year old owner has passed away. There was recent maintenance performed, such as a battery, oil change and brake repair. I am of the impression that you could drive this car anywhere!

Car was owned by elderly woman who drove it only to the grocery store. When I inherited it, it ran like a top but has been sitting for several years. Interior has started to wear but is original. Red paint is still on the motor. Motor size is 318. Door panels are in mint condition. Tires have less than 400 miles on them but have been sitting. Less than 43000 original miles on the car. Car needs some love that I cannot give it.
I bought this car from my BF, it was his dad's pride and joy and sat for 7 years after his passing. I put tires, battery, both oils, changed the AC to 138, and a stereo on the trans hump so not to disturb the dash, and drove it from Fresno CA to Coshocton Ohio and back. Great road trip alone. I would love to get in and do it again tomorrow.
Issues- Starts hard-carb could use some attention, trans is soft until it gets warm, crack in the dash, and NO electric windows. I'll never have another car without elect. windows.
Air shocks work great. I slept on the back seat many times on my trip. No smoke and no smog needed in CA. Fun and easy to drive. Original drive train with elect ign.
You arrange shipping but I need at least 2 weeks notice if you want to come to check it out. I live in the hills east of Fresno at Pine Flat Reservoir and I work away. Best contact for me is e-mail since there is poor cell service here. Questions by email please. Price is FIRM
